His credits include Disney Club, The Big Breakfast, Record Breakers and Tomorrow’s World. He spent a decade on Blue Peter, with four years as Editor. In 2003, he won a BAFTA award and was again nominated in 2006. In 2008 he was consultant to the National Media Museum’s 50th anniversary exhibition and was presented to the Queen at Buckingham Palace. He was also awarded a gold Blue Peter badge. In 2009, he wrote the script for the BBC’s ‘evolution’ prom, presented by Sir David Attenborough, and, in 2012, he produced and directed the 90-minute Tales of Television Centre.
