Note: This is an audiobook reading of the 1963 Doctor Who TV story of the same name, however this is not a reading of Terrance Dicks’ 1981 novelisation but a brand new adaptation by Nigel Robinson written exclusively for audio. The recording took place and it was due out in November 2013, but was postponed after publisher AudioGO entered administration a few weeks prior to release. A new release date of Nov 2014 was announced after Random House took over the BBC Audiobook range in mid-2014, however it was subsequently postponed again due to “rights issues” with the estate of Anthony Coburn and now looks extremely unlikely to be released anytime soon.
