He is best known for his Doctor Who paintings, however: his illustrations have appeared on books, videotapes, calendars and posters, while the original paintings are sought after by collectors on both sides of the Atlantic. In a varied career he has set up his own publishing company and has produced Doctor Who books and calendars as well as a biography of Frank Hampson, the creator of Dan Dare.
